Marriott Card 70K for all members

Not sure if this was common knowledge and I am just late on the uptake. I found a marriott card offer for 70K points and 2K spending and I always thought it was only for elite members but this appears to be for anyone. I want to apply but I dont know if I should. I just got the Citi Premier and my EX was 788 and the newest open accounts are that and my Amex Delta and PRG from Novermber and December 2014. AAoA is about 3.1 years, 7 inq on EX, 3 in the last 6 months. I just started a new job and was hoping to get a CLI from chase becuase I now have substantially more income and I read the best way is to get a new card. WHat are your thoughts and here is the link for the offer.

I think that's been around for a while now.

I think with that profile you're probably good for Mariott assuming you're not already at your max with them. If you are, you might have to move some credit over to open the new TL.

I have the CSP 5.8K, Freedom 5.8K, and Amazon 1.8K. The CSP and Freedom are from June last year and the Amazon is two years old

You seem to have a really lengthy history with Chase then. That's what they're gonna really be looking at as well as your internal score with them. I don't really that high of AAoA but have been able to get several Chase cards nonetheless.

Meaning they would just be checking to see if you actually applied.. they meant you're most likely approved at that point.

I doubt it would go to that, probably instant approval. That's what I got and usually I get verification.

Interesting data point there. I've never gotten a single instant approval with any Chase card for some reason. The closest I got to instant approval was with the Ritz and even that had verification involved. Really quick verification though.

Thank you everyone! When I got my CSP and Freedom they almost instantly showed up in my online account, how long have they taken for you? I was approved yesterday and still nothing in my online profile.

CSP showed up a few hours after I got approved. I didn't get instant approval and it was on a Friday night.

Chase AARP took over a week to show up and Freedom was instantaneous.
