BofA 123 Secured Card finally approved!

I'm so excited! My BofA 123 secured card application was submitted and approved on Fri, 4/23. The 3K deposit was taken out of my CU checking acct on Mon, 4/26. They automatically put a 5 day hold on deposit for clearing purposes, since it was coming from my CU and not BofA. I got the clear today, Fri, 5/1. All approved and account created. The credit analysts have all been exceptional. I called a few times during the process to check on status. The last rep that I spoke with, Brandon, told me he would overnight my card and I should get it by next Tuesday. In addition, I opened a BofA savings acct today and my card does qualify for the 10% redemption bonus! It's really an amazing product. I'm very happy!!! The entire process from app to receiving card(assuming I receive Tues) took 11 days. Not bad!

Thanks! I'm officially in the garden for the rest of the year. I have enough cards to grow and build up my score past 700.

Good job getting with boa. High deposit, but maybe when they insecure you it will yield higher limits

Awesome card!!! Pif monthly and you should have no problem unsecuring in 5/6 months. Try to have TU in good shape. That is who they will pull if you request to be unsecured early.
