DISCOVER IT APPROVAL!!! Woo hoo I'm finally into PRIME TIME!! :)

I inquired about this card in the forum earlier and when I didn't get a quick response I said "Oh heck just do it already!!" lol I just had to scratch that itch. I Have no idea what CL is and don't care at the moment. Just happy dancing that I got approved. They've turned me down before. My only other awesome card is my NFCU cash rewards card (8500 CL). The rest are subprime (which I'm weeding out) except for my retail cards. A little bit of patience has gone along way. Don't know who they pulled yet. OMG OMG OMG Did I mention how excited I am!!

I love my IT card! The web interface is great, and the rewards kick major a**! I have a fraud alert on my credit for my own protection. Because of this I had to call and verify my info. They pulled Equifax first then Transunion. I don't think they pull two all the time. I think it was just my unique situation since I had to prove I was who I was. In any case, enjoy the new bling!

Congrats! When I got approved and went to the window where you could setup your account preferences (immediately after the "You're Approved!" notice), I noticed that one of the last options in the bottom (I think it was setting an alert for being within a specific amount from your limit) - It was set to $2800 by default. So before I even knew my CL, I could see the minimum limit based on the system suggested alert. I don't know if any of this makes sense, but it's just a heads up for future applicants.

A Big Congrats kg!!! and trust me, Discover was my first unsecured prime card approval and i almost cried when the CSR told me "we would like to welcome you to the Discover family"...I probably would have kissed him if we would have been face to face!... So i know the feeling!

You guys are funny..pink flamingos lol Thanks everyone!! Someone asked about my EQ. When I pulled recently it was 669 FICO. I have 3 inquiries (2 NFCU 1 CHASE) from Sept & Nov. 1 old collection account that was for a little over $100 from 2007 that was also paid back then. I've been squeaky clean since!

Oh ok...my EQ is 677 with three baddies from 2006, but two of them are to fall off in May and July. I might give it a shot then. 5 inquires with the most recent one being my Discover denial this past August.

The last baddie is a Midland collection account that I've had no luck GWing whatsoever.
