Synchrony Makes Absolutely No Sense....

My Pay-Pal Smart Connect started almost 2 years ago with a $500 limit and since that I've had one customer initiated CLI and 3 auto CLI's including one yesterday to bring my limit up to $3500--and that's with almost 50% UTIL on the acct currently! I'm thankful and not complaiining about THAT....yet I've hit the CLI button on my over 1 year old Wal-Mart Discover/ then later Mastercard (which was a store card 8 mos. before that) NUMEROUS times, which I've always maintained a low balance and can't get it to move off of $2K to save my life.

Walmart is just a harder Synchrony card to get big increases on. Sam's Club is way better in terms of the growth and benefits you get with it IMO. That's why I closed my Walmart card last year.

Happy for you on the Paypal SC increase though. It's one of the faster growing Sync cards you can have. My limit on it last year was $900 and it's now $4900.

The best way to get a big jump (CLI) on your Walmart MC is to call the the backdoor number. I have tried the "luv" button before myself and it never works - not for me anyways. I have always received what I wanted by calling the backdoor number. You can also try "chat" on their site which a lot of people are having success with. My current CL on my Walmart MC is $25k.

Good Question. you will only see it monday thru friday. from like 8-8. then it dissapears. good luck.

I can't seem to get an increase on my pp sc. I'm stuck at $800. That is my only card under $1k. Got an increase on my Wal-Mart store card and the chevron card. You're are right...
