Just Applied for BBVA Compass Amex, But???

I waited for almost two months to apply for the card. I applied for the card and I got instantly approved for $2K. I was disappointed for the limit and the APR. I don't know where they pulled.

Congrats... I really hot they are not runnung out of money(JK). That is a ridiculous APR. @Ron1, I think you should call when you get the card just like the user @One7 did. He was able to get his raised to a much much higher limit.

Congrats on the approval Ron! Sorry the terms aren't good. I think you have a better chance at customer service helping than what I went through. Mine was a whole different issue.

OUCH! Same thing that happened to me with Total Rewards Visa the other day after "wooing" me with a pre-approval letter and 2 pop-up pre-approvals....$2k limit and 22.99% APR. I definitely feel your pain.

I remember One7 getting his limit and APR reduced by calling. Try that, Ron and tell us how it goes.

It is easier to get approved. I might need a new heat pump. It is over 10 years. It came with the house.

Ron, congrats on your approval. Call them tomorrow, I have noticed good results asking for more.
