Not quite a 3x C.L.I.

I hit the 61 day mark on my Amex B.C.E. and I went for the 3x increase (2k -> 6k) via telephone and it didn't happen. . .

They only gave me a $500.00 increase.

Oh well, maybe in 6 months.

Did they say why you didn't qualify for the 3x?

I know not everybody gets it (despite so many success stories here). Those of us who are soon to attempt that leap might like to know what affects our chances. Thanks!

Did you pay in full on the card each month?

Also any of your other cards have any balances larger than 10% of the card's limit? Any new degrogs added to your reports?

I didnt speak with anyone, it was the automated system.

There is nothing negative on any of my reports, none of my other cards have a balance and I always pay everything in full every month. . .

I can't be mad at a soft pull based C.L.I. But I was expecting a little more than that.

So you just call the system and input what you want ? Did it tell you that they will give a 500 CLI or it just showed up in the acccount.

That's strange and first I've heard of but I'm glad you did get an increase.
