Credit Lines now $34,000

I called the special customer service people in the sky for Capital One yesterday afternoon and requested a $6,000 CLI from $3,000 to $9,000 on my 9 month-old Cash Rewards card. I just checked my online account and found the full $6,000 CLI was accepted! I'm sure my contact will call back to let me know sometime next week. Great experience! Thanks for all the help everyone!

Thanks all! I'm very pleased. Since starting to read the forums last June I have gone 4/4 on applications and 2/2 in CLI requests. I have to say I'm very happy with what I've got going on, and really just look forward to helping others!

Congratulations! Btw, When was the last time you requested a CLI from them? Or the last time you received an auto cli? I'll probably hit 'em up 6 months or so to get a SP CLI myself, after I 3x the AMEX.

Congrats! I asked for the same increase, but I doubt I'll get the full thing if any, considering my account is so new that I don't even have the card yet

I last requested a CLI in December from regular CSR. I got a letter saying it was against Capital One Policy. I have never received an auto CLI, and I was not enrolled in the credit steps.

I haven't yet been able to verify that this was an SP. But the woman I contacted told me it would be before I started the process. For now I trust her, but I will make sure to check the next time I pull my reports.

Nice! Seems like Cap One is improving, which is welcomed news.
