You guessed it! Me!!!! Decided to pull trigger on Chase IHG. They pulled my worse report EQ but approved me for $4500. I'll TAKE IT!! Now to pick what fancy hotel I'm staying at with my free night.

I know you wanted this one really badly -- so congrats!!! I've been using mine for my travels so far this summer -- and the experience has been more than favorable! We have traveled to 4 Holiday Inn's and each and every time, we've been thanked for being platinum elite IHG members. If you stay at a Holiday Inn, they are going to offer you either a 500 point welcome bonus or a welcome bag (which includes a cheap bag and a bottle of water) -- take the points! Also, when you book a room via IHG, you'll see that you can pay a little bit extra for your night's stay and receive a healthy dose of extra bonus points.

P.S.: I had read elsewhere on the forums somewhere that people have been SM'ing Chase and requesting the 80,000 point spend bonus. Like you, I received the 70,000 but sm'ed Chase and they told me once I met the $1,000 spend to message them again and they'd honor the 80,000 points! You might want to try that

Yeah I'm super stoked about finally getting this card. Chase is determined to pull EQ for me.. Uggghhh oh well. I WILL wait and app AARP next year once EQ is spotless so I can get a large limit and sprinkle some of it to Freedom and IHG.

Thanks everyone!! You all know I don't just collect cards. I have very specific cards I want in my portfolio. Delta is getting axed next month. Diners in November before af due. Thinning and trimming the herd.
