Amazon Store Card...Approved!

So, I decided I was gonna rest on my First Premier card a while and build, but tonight after a glass or two of wine and an offer of a gift card if approved I applied for an Amazon Store Card. Much to my surprise, I was approved for a $700 limit.

Now, does anyone have experience with this card, and more specifically what bureaus they report to? While I'm grateful for any chance to help rebuild, I definitley want to focus on all three when possible.

It reports to all 3 all Synchrony accounts do.

It also reports immediately after every charge or payment, buy something and a day or two later the utilization shows up on your reports. Not a big deal but if you are tuning your score ahead of a mortgage app or something be aware they statement date means nothing for this card, it updates the bureaus continuously.

Also try for a CLI, I got one after I paid my first bill.

This has been a fantastic card for me. Reports to all three bureaus - and reports increases in limit even without the requisite purchase to get it to post (unlike comenity)

Started out with a toy limit in January - and right after closing on my mortgage, they increased my limit by 4x, no hard pull.

I've used frequently and paid at least 30% of balance each statement. Paid off third statement, charged up again. Synchrony is great if you get in with them.

I've had the card for 4 years started at a 700 CL, I don't think I have ever paid a dime of interest, $150 or more gets you 0% interest for 6 months, and you can get 12months for a higher purchase. It grows with you, use the CLI button every 4 statements, you can also use the chat button or the Credit Solutions backdoor number and request a better limit. I have a 5k limit currently, never had to call the backdoor number or use chat.

Use the card, get 0% interest deals be sure its paid off before the end of the promotion or you will get hit with all the interest you would of paid over time. I have gotten CLI's while carrying a balance usually not more than 30% of the total CL.

I am not sure if Credit Solutions is open on the weekends but you should definitely call them as soon as possible and ask for $3000. It seems to be the lucky number that has worked for myself and others. Hopefully they'll give you an increase even if it's not the total $3000. The store card is pretty amazing just for the financing. Congratulations!
