Discover IT - $11500!!! + Fidelity Amex CLI!

Hi everyone,

I've been in the garden for a year, and I've been aching for a new card. I went up and down the spectrum, looking at Citi Prestige and Amex Platinum, to the Chase AARP card. I kind of wanted a Discover to get a card from all the providers, and I read about the double CB bonus starting tomorrow. I yelled "this tears it!" and apped through the amazon portal. I was instantly approved, but had to call for the credit limit. The CSR was very helpful and informed me I was getting a card with a $11500 CL if you hadnt guessed from the title. A great start to what is hopefully a long and fruitful relationship. Cheers everyone!

Edit: I was feeling pretty saucy after the approval, so I applied for a CLI on my 1 year old Fidelity Amex from 6k to 12k on sunday night. I got a 7-10 day message, but when I logged in this morning the CLI went through! Woo! \o/ Back to the garden for me now haha. Thanks for all the great feedback everyone!

Congrats! I love discover and they love me back. I've gone from an SL of $1500 in November 2014 to $7900 on my last CLI a couple days ago. I'm getting $1000 increases on the 17 day program that others can attest to around here. You'll most likely need to use the card for 90 days before requesting a CLI, but they are soft pulls.

Well done! I have only had my Discover for a few days, but it is fast becoming one of my favorite cards. CSRs are great. I'll let the card age a bit before requesting a CLI. Congrats again.

Thanks everybody! I really appreciate the support. I'm definitely going back to the garden after this app and the CLI. My total credit jumped from 28k to 45k. I'm pumped!
