Approved for Chase Freedom but disappointing SL

Hi all,

I've been lurking these forums for a few months now, but was spurred ot register because of this recent approval. I applied for the Chase Freedom, even though I should be gardening after some recent new accounts, because of the new $200 bonus. At first they said my application needed further review, so I called in. They just wanted to verify that I was who I said I was, but kept me on hold for a long time. Afterwards they approved me for a card with a 2k SL! I know 2k isn't terrible, but I have 5 other major credit cards and those lines all range from 7k-10k. I'm not sure why they're being so stingy.

Congrats on the Approval, i also was approved for 2k but after having the card for 3 months they double my SL so be patient it will grow

Congrats on your Chase card! It will grow & they will want you to app for another.

I said the same thing.

I love my freedom though. I kill it with the 5% back categories

i hope mine grows
