Help with Barclays Reward VISA *UPDATE

So with a TU of 650 a no collections, 4 inquiries, I decided to apply for this card. Currently an AU on a card with them. I recieved the message:

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with an immediate decision on the application you just submitted.
Your application requires further review, which can take up to 10 days.

Does anyone have any advice or recon numbers to call and check the status. I am hoping its simply a verification issue. Dont see why I wouldnt be approved. Thanks for any help.

What I did with the same issue was first check that it was final in the system, google "barclay check status",

If denied as I was, I called for recon the next day, number is found here:

see: "Barclay xxx-xxx-xxxx (credit analyst MAY have limited hours)"

Just said I was calling for reconsideration of my application.

Answered a few questions, and was all set.

*UPDATE

So I googled ( should have anyway) and came back with the RECON NUMBER: 1-866-408-4064 Called them and apparently I was denied, but I explained any new inquiries and went over some accounts ( all in good standing) . Was approved for $1500 credit line. AWESOME!!

Thanks! I bookmarked the page. Seen it before, but sometimes those numbers dont work out for me. Decided to just post a recent experience.
