Just got my Chase freedom CLI from 2.2k to 9.2k!

So I got a chase freedom and southwest premier rewards card (Chase) almost 1 year ago together for the sign up bonuses. Well the 1 yr anniversary was coming up for the southwest and I didnt want to pay the $99 annual fee and called to close it.

Well the agent on the phone was nice enough to offer the 7.5k southwest CL to my 2.2k chase freedom limit (which I never got an increase on)

For a grand total of 9.2k! He confirmed multiple times that there would be no pull soft or hard!

I guess I wont need a CLI on the freedom anymore

Congrats! Now that you've had it a year, you can also ask for a PC to the Visa Signature version of the card.

Best way to get CLI on chase cards... get new chase cards and move the limits!

I was declined CLI on my AARP but since then have been approved Ritz for $10k and Zappos for $5k (within 2 months of cli denial!!)

Was excited for a second thinking Chase was getting better with CLI's Congrats on the new limit
