I was only approved for 600 so we ended up not putting my engagement ring on it but hey at least I will get some new earrings every now and then

Congrats! I applied 2 years ago and had an initial CL of $3000. I bought my wife a diamond ring with their card and paid the monthly payments religiously and they gradually increased my limit. As I paid on it, I charged a few smaller things and now have a $6,000 limit with a $0 balance now (though it will be 1 more month until my CR reflects that).

Stay with them and use the card, but be sure to make at least the monthly payment before the due date and they will do the same for you. Just be aware that as you charge things with them, your monthly payment will go up.

What do you mean the monthly payment will go up? Like if I charge more than 1 thing or did you mean something else?

i bought my ex wife's ring with the initial $2,200 CL i got an when i paid it off they bumped me to $3,400

It depends on the amount charged. The monthly payments are based on a tier plan. For example (numbers are not accurate, just an example), $0-$500 charged you may pay $50/mo. $501-$1,000 may be $75/mo. $1,001 to $1,500 may be $100/mo and so on.
