Victoria Secret Approval!!!!

I cant believe it!! I was reading online how to go through and see if a pre-approval comes up and one did! To my amazement approved for $350!!! : ) first unsecured card since all of my charge off's. I did hear that if you get approved for VS you can get approved for Express. I went through the same process but with no pre-approval offer so I didnt apply.

I went and added 2 things to my cart and then went through the check out process as if I was going to pay with my bank card. I should also mention I set up a sign in account before I added the items. I proceeded with checkout and before it asked me to confirm the delivery address a thing popped up that said you are pre-approved for a limit up to $350. I proceeded to enter my info and it said I was approved!! Was totatlly shocked! Now, I did the same for express and no add ever popped up.

Yes I read online NYORKCO is an easier one to get also. Maybe in a few weeks I will try. I dont want to screw up and get any denials.

OMG I just tried it and got a card for $250!!!! this is my first cc in 6 years. And no hard pull

Hey! Congrats! Sorry to ask the same quetsion again, but when you where checking out had you already put your credit card info? Or was it before the billing section?

It comes up before the credit card info requet screen. Right after you put in your name address and e-mail

Also the popop comes up before you have to enter in any info. I have no clue how it happens or why but you need to wait for the popop so you dont get a hard pull. I just tried it on a few other site and nothing. But I will take what I got

How did you know it's a soft pull? They just ask for the last 4 of my ssn. is that a soft or hard pull?

Congrats!!!! I'm happy for you and know hw you feel because the same happened for me!! I wouldn't of known it if it wasn't for this site and the helpful people here. When I was approved, I couldn't believe it either and was just as excited as you. Good luck and garden it well.

With just the last 4 of ur SSN, thts a soft pull.

Full info = Hard pull

I "pretend" to buy some stuff at VS BUCKLE AND EXPRESS and NADA..... I even made sure my pop-up blocker was disabled. Oh well!!... I was going to try to "pretend" to buy stuff as my husband lol....

I just did this too and was preapproved for $300. I didn't buy anything because the shipping was so expense and I have VS a few blocks from my house. I was looking for a second card to add to my secured VISA I have reporting. I only entered in the last 4 of my ss# so I hope that does in fact mean they only do a soft. I only have one inquiry on each report and I want to keep it that way so I can hopefully refinance my house this summer. My scores are sitting in the low 600's now and I am hoping to reach 650 by June.

Can anyone confirm that Victoria Secrets does in fact report to all the credit bureaus each month? If so, this will give me two credit cards reporting and I just finished rehabbing my student loans so that will add a loan payment to my mix too.
