Didn't expect this but, Cap1 showed me some luv on my secured card. I'm not sure exactly when but shortly after my 6th statement dropped, I noticed a CLI from $300->$600.

That is so great! I have been seeing this more frequently. Personally, I have had mine for over 3 years and it's been stuck at the original amount :/ I never expected a CLI since it is secured, but seeing the luv so many are getting kind of makes me wonder.

Three years? Wow, I wish I knew what criteria they used. I can tell you that I use it monthly but not heavily, PIF a couple of times a month and don't report a balance. Maybe if you call them they will CLI for you?

DW and I both noticed a cli on our secured cards today too. Ours went from $200 to $500. Definitely wasn't expecting it either. Now if they would just let them unsecure and convert to something more useful that would be great!

I was actually going to close it a couple of months ago when I hit the three year mark, but I got the annual fee waived and then I started seeing a lot of CLI increases for it on here so I held off - lol. I will probably just keep it open until next March and close it before the AF hits. I have older cards....not sure why I can't quite let go of it - lol. I don't use it much anymore which could account for it remaining stagnant. Maybe I'll use it heavily and PIF a few times a month and see if that does anything for me. I also had the Platinum with a much higher limit and just PC'd it to the QS so I have been using that as my primary card to get the cash back. Maybe it just feels a little neglected ;-)

I think it is awesome that they are giving CLI increases on them. Great incentive for the hard work of rebuilding and using them responsibly! Congrats again!!
