Last one, I promise. For now...

Long story short. Went to pay my auto insurance in full for the year with my new Amex BCP to get the intro offer of $150 back. Auto insurance company doesn't accept Amex. Took a gamble and applied for Cap1 Quicksilver to get the intro offer of $100 back. Accepted with a $3000 CL, Phew! That's 5 cards in less than a year and 3 in the past week. Gardening for the foreseeable future.

I went on quite the spree myself so don't feel bad. Since March I opened discover, cap 1 venture, cap 1 QS visa, penfed visa sign, sportsman guide (soft pull only), bbva Amex, and overstock(my one and only store card I'll ever get-soft pull only). I always say I'm in the garden but then I read these forums. Problem is I am in rebuilding mode and need all the new accounts I can get. For now I'm done apping for 1 year. 60k in avail credit with 0 debt shall do.

I'm saving my next HP for Chase Sapphire Preferred. I heard Chase doesn't like too many new accounts so I need to wait a bit.

Know they don't. We have very similar scores too. I don't get any prequalification offers on the website for chase so I never applied. They worry me. Try penfed though. They only pull eq, and if it's clean for you, it's a done deal. You will probably get what I got. I even had 1 baddie on my eq at the time, and like 14 inq, and 3 new accounts.

You may be able to get the Freedom. although, my scores were probably a bit higher in February when I got mine. I'm good with 5 credit cards for now. I don't make many purchases, and if i get any more credit cards, I may forget to use them to keep them active :/

Congrats! It's hard once you get on a roll! I thought I could pull back but just got another card 5 mins ago- Discover!

It's funny - I applied for the Freedom and Sapphire- I was turned down for freedom but got the Sapphire- 5k! Chase is awesome and that site is so friendly! Already lovin them!

Which one did you apply for first? They seem to only allow 2 cards within 6 months
