Received Barneys New York Credit Card last Night

I was approved for this card about 9 days. Experian pull and a initial limit of $750.00

I went out of town for the 4th of July and got home last night. Saw the nice envelope from Barneys, opened the card and called the number on the back.

Spent about 18 minutes getting an additional $10,000.00 in cli's in 500 increments.

I know this has been the trend with this card, sorry to post another story about it.... It's the largest one time CLI i have ever received!

From what I am reading, it's almost sorta of safe to say that Barneys credit card approval with result in an atleast a 5 to 10k CLI upon activation.

Things may change, but man that is intense! Pizza I believe was able to get another 10k the following month.

Congratulations! Who does Comenity pull for Barney's. I have JCREW, VS, and Eddie Bauer - all zero bal and combined avail credit (just for those 3 cards) over 5K. FICOscores hovering at 700. Odds on my chances? Barney's is way too expensive for my plebian tastes but it would be great to have that increased in C.A. for my utilization calculation.

Congrats on the success! It's crazy, isn't it? This was my first 5k card, and my first 10k card, within five minutes, lol

I went to Vegas and LA last week and charged 2k on it I bought a Serapian travel bag, a pair of J Brand jeans, and a Paul Frank wallet. I do have to say that their online selection is much larger than their in-store lines.

completely agree, they have a great selection online... in the store its a little sparse especially for me cause all men's departments can be a little discriminating lol.
