Holy Moly Synchrony CLI

So this morning on my way to work at 7:45 am I decided to call the US based synchrony number to see if I could increase my TJX Mastercard from 11k to 20k. They countered with 15k which I gracefully accepted. Just called the overseas synchrony number to see if I could get my PayPal Mastercard to go from 10k to 20k. Fully expected a denial or a counter. After an 11 minute hold (patiently watched my phones timer). The rep came back and said congratulations your request to increase your credit line to $20,000 has been approved and will be available in 2-3 minutes. It's my birthday, it's my birthday. Next up in a couple of weeks is ebates visa and walmart mastercard. Don't know why TJX couldn't go up to 20k considering that I've put about 8k through it since getting the card last year. My PayPal Mastercard account hasn't seen over $2,500 since I got the card last year

Do they hard pull for their increases on mastercards?
