From what I have read there does not appear to be any cause for concern but would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Kind regards and thank you in advance.

That's perfectly normal. It takes time to generate the card and link it to your Marriott rewards number. Patience :-)

From the time I was approved to me receiving the card ups express was 4 days. The first card never came to my house. So I gave it an extra day, called them and they canceled the card and sent out a new one that day which I received the next day. I did not have a ritz rewards account before, so I am not sure in regards to that.

But you can call chase, just google JPM executive line, call that number and see whats up. They can give u real time information on where your card is.

Just an updated data point: I called in as suggested above and was told that the account was "built" today and that the card would arrive in 5-7 business days via US Mail. I asked if there was any way to send it via trackable means and the representative indicated that new cards can only be sent via US Mail. This is different from what I have read here, but I didn't press the issue as I am in no particular rush, but thought it was interesting data to share nonetheless.

Incidentally, the combination of a one-ring-direct-to-human and the attentive, courteous service I received makes me very enthusiastic about having a long and productive relationship with Chase. I was really impressed.

Thanks again for your feedback.

Came in a nice, trackable UPS package that I could follow on the app.

One thing they did say was that it would be in an unmarked box, which it was. I was surprised that the Hyatt came in a 'stylish' Gray box with the Hyatt logo. Not too low-key, then again how many people even know that Hyatt has a CC.

Also, the one-ring-direct-to-human was that a JP Morgan number? I had been on the phone for a Hyatt question when I asked about the RCR. I'm really looking forward to that level of service. That and Gold at Marriotts are two big perks to me.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Yes, I called the JPM number, and while my data set on the topic so far is N=1, I have to say that the experience was excellent and very encouraging.
