4 months have passed and I have just requested a CLI on my amazon store card, from $1,600 to $2,350. Util with them is about 15% and overall util is 6%. I hope the next time will be a higher increase

Congratulations to you. Amazon is one of the only companies I cannot get a Credit Limit increase out. Had them for almost 2 years and still stuck at the same limit.

Did you use the online button or did you call them?

I used the online button. First CLI that I got from them was auto, 2 months after I had opened the account.

You just reminded me... I just got approved myself for a CLI... Wally up to 2k from 1.2K and Amazon up to 1.5k from 900... Kinda wish they'd give me more on Amazon since I spend way more money there than at Wally, either congrats to you and congrats to me! Happy dance!!

OP give this # a call 1 877 379 8173. This is GE credit solutions they are VERY helpful and you may be able to get a bigger increase!

Do you mean calling them up now, or for the next increase in 4 months?

Call them now let them know you just got an increase and want too see if they can review for a bigger increase

Is this the Chase Amazon card or regular Amazon card? Also does Chase Amazon do HP or SF for CLI?

An amazon store card will be GECRB, the amazon visa is Chase.

Amazon chase does HPs for credit increases. I just got shafted by them on valentines day. Was told by a CSR that I was eligible to ask for an increase so in excitement I called on valentines day and asked them to double my limit. Didnt get it so I called the recon and said I couldn't get one because I just got one. So I get a HP and nothing to show for it...

What LS said. Chase Amazon (and Chase in general) requires HPs for virtually all customer-initiated CLIs. And they're known for being pretty stingy with auto-CLIs.

OTOH, Amazon store card via GE is sometimes as generous as Santa Claus with CLIs.

Thanks LS, I called them up and I asked for $4,000 and they gave it to me, took about 5 mins on the phone!!

Maybe I can't get one with amazon again p, I didnt get what I completely asked for over the automated phone line last time , and considering I just closed best buy I'm gonna need the extra CL to keep my available credit the same
