I'm in with Ritz Carlton ...

Well in a totall bold move I applied to get this card ..I had no faith to get it ..so I did ..I got the pending message so I was not so mad . That was in July 2 ..Today ..The UPS man met at the door with smile ..My comany send stuff to my home all the time ,so I didn't think i'm getting anything other than the norm .Well he hand me a nice box ..I was nnot sure what it was ..So I open it ..NOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS THE FREAKING RITZ CARLITON CARD ..I had to sit down lol ..was happy ..Chase gave me 5k starting limit ..Right a way i called to ask for more ..i got the sorry answer but I was told i can move some my of freedom limit to my new card ..I did ..What a card ..I'm going to Dubai next month and already used it to buy my air fare ..I have not read the print yet ..Thanks you guys ..

By the way ..I also applied to get CSP but I have not heard back from Chase ..I did apply a day after Ritz ..

How quick will the ritz card grow ? I want to make it my main card ..

Congrats!! Ritz is a great card, the $300 annual airline credit is a huge bonus. You just have to call and ask - it's painless.

Super congrats!!! What did you think of the packaging? I have both boxes put away. Just got mine recently & haven't used it yet. Dubai sounds awesome! Just going to Costa Rica in March. Drop it on anything, sounds sooooo different!

Congrats on the approval! Unfortunaetly Chase cards aren't really know to grow via CLI's.. If you ever want the limit more in the future even though it is a stupid policy is open another Chase card and move the limit over.. If you use it enough, you might be one the lucky few that get a sp CLI...

Yeah, I paid for dinner with it last night and DH insisted on dropping it on the table a couple times. :rolleyes: Luckily there was only one other table in the restaurant.

Congrats! The Ritz card is definitely my nicest looking card. And, getting the the travel credit is painless. I just had Chase credit my account the other day for some expenses from traveling and it was easy breezy.

I'm pretty sure the travel credit is for ancillary air travel stuff: baggage fees, seat upgrades, sometimes in-flight stuff, lounge cost (might be more).

Congrats! Hopefully they will approve you for the CSP. After the spend bonus is met, - for me - it only makes sense to use the card when staying at a Marriott or Ritz, or of course, just to show off a little. The point value is extremely poor vs. the CSP.
