2 approvals 1 pending, thanks to you guys on this forum

My mom was telling me she wants to get a travel card. SO, I did a quick search on here at the posts and encouraged her to get the chase sapphire, it was not an instant approval and she was ready to throw in the towel so I gave her the backdoor number and she just needed to verify apt #. $15,300 approval.

Next she went for the venture with instant approval for $10,000

Finally she went for the NFCU flagship (not sure why she picked this one and I didn't even browse to see what it was) But got the 3-5 day message and was told to call back next week and it is not a denial.

I am happy for her!!!! Thanks to all of you active posters!!!

Wow Grats. I hope your mom does a lot of spending (well at least a lot in my book)....each of those cards have good sign up bonuses but require a significant amount to meet them. I believe its $3k on the Venture, $4k on the Sapphire and $3k on the NFCU.

She sure does a lot of spending lol. Plus she is traveling in the next month. I may have to go with her to help her spend lol

Whee! Congrats to your mom, and kudos to you as well for actually taking the time to do some research!

Chase approval higher than Venture currently? Any idea what her file is like as that runs counter to well, a lot of anecdotal reports here heh.

Revelate, I am not sure, last she told me with her fako scores from CapitalOne was about 750 something. I know she did check her fico score but cant remember what she said it was.

She pretty much have the prime cards, C.O she had for over 5 years (starter), an amex, chase freedom. One store card: Macy's.
