Appoved for American Express Platinum!

I am feeling VERY VERY overwhelmed deciding between the new American Express PRG and the Platinum. This forum and the Amex reps were very helpful in helping me make my decision.

This month application

Chase Sapphire Preferred - $17,000

Chase Freedom - $9,000

American Express Platinum - NPSL

Now I am done with CC. Back to the GARDEN forever =)

Some good cards you have there. I want to get the CSP but I don't think it is that worth it for me now, I just got the Prestige.

since they did a HP already. I am wondering if i should apply for a regular credit card. Hoping it would be the same report. The new account representative told me I have to wait 5 days. =(

Wow!! Thanks for letting me know!! I heard it isn't metal like my CSP. But since it looks sexy, I think I can deal having with it being a plastic card ;-)

My husband has that card but its plastic not sure about metal platinum cards with that one. I just find it pretty and shiny!

Congrats on the Platinum approval and you don't need to wait 5 days to apply for another card. You may not get an instant decision but then again you might and it's a good way to get two cards from one HP.

Thank you for the reply. I guess I have only a few hours to decide which credit card I want to decide on. Like you said, two cards with 1 hardpull. I am looking for someone who recently experienced this.

It happens all the time that people get back to back approvals with Anex. Other times they have to wait a few days to get second approval. What's your Ex score?

Recently my Experian score is 760. Hoping to get to the 800s soon. Now I am thinking of applying for my second Amex card and be done for good since I have all my dream cards.

With that score, you should have no problem getting 2nd card. Good luck

Thank you everyone. I have to way wait 2-3 days for my Platinum. For now I'll just stare at my CSP and Freedom that just recently came in the mail. LOL!
