SURPRISING! Amex approval!!! :O

Hello all I have some amazing news to share with you all but first I would like to mention for anyone out there who has the American Express Zync card with a hard limit of $200 or $500 (like me) don't be discourage there is still hope for you all out there in the Amex world.

So today I randomly decided to try my luck on the Amex Gold PR knowing I probably had a 95% chance of getting denied because of my hard limit Zync card but I decided to go for it anyways, either way it would just be a SP. I called up Amex over the phone CC application # on there website and went ahead filled my app with a rep for the Amex Gold PR. After a few minutes the rep tells me I have been approved for a NPSL Gold PR card and should be receiving my card within 2-3 business days. I CANNOT believe my ears! My brain literally went blank! After reading up on here that there is no way anyone would be able to get approved for another amex card with a hard limit Zync unless you close your Zync card I thought all hope was gone for me in the amex world....just me and my $500 unicorn card limited edition.... BUT NOW that theory is false.... There is still hope for us Zync card holders! I jut hope they don't FR me after realizing my hard limit on my zync card. Im still scared that Amex may think the approval was a mistake and cancel my new card.

The Amex P.R.G. is a charge card which has "no pre set spending limit"

All of the AMEX Green, Gold, and Platinum cards are NPSL

BTW what year is your Denali? I just traded my Avalanche in on a 2013 Sierra Denali, Awesome Trucks!

Congrats, are you planning on closing the Zync? any plans for an AMEX revolver in the future?

Congrats but don't be fooled about NPSL...there is an internal limit...my limit was 2500 back in july when I first got one by december i was charging 6000+

The poster is referencing another thread that discussed changing the name to the "Unicorn" given it is no longer available and is rare amongst the general population.
