Approved via SCT for $250 , 8 days after CH7 discharge. No luck on Jcrew or overstock at this point.

That is amazing to me. I had to wait five years before getting a secured card after my Chapter 13. Congrats!

Congrats. I'm waiting for my decision in the mail.I called vs and was able to speak to someone using my social security number to look up my application.She told me that my application is still processing yet a letter was in the mail already.I did not understand that.If a letter is on it's way,why is it still processing?

I had 2 reasons for this post . One to thank the people here for their info and two to help those coming out of a Ch 7.

This forum helped me repair my and my spouse's credit a few years ago so we were able to buy a house. A lot of things happened to kill me financially since then and again this forum is coming to the rescue.

I just got approved for the VS card with a $250 starting limit, I used an incognito browser and then went to the website, I scrolled down to see offers that were there on the page and one said apply so I did and approved 2 weeks since chapt 7 discharge.
