Barney's card got 7-10 day msg UPDATE approved

inspired by pizza and her success with this card, I decided to apply but got the dreaded 7-10 days message. I'm crossing my fingers it is a verification and not a denial.

I would bet its verification. And as you know, you can't call and inquire, they will tell you wait for letter. So, you know what to do once you get the verification letter....call the # listed in the letter, and give them the reference # at the top of the page...

9/10 if its verification youre approved. Once approved, and once you get the card in the mail, call the number on back of card and do the auto trick CLI ...good luck!!

Good luck. 7-10 days has always been denial for me. Barents remains one of the most elusive cards for me. I've applied 3 times.

Interestingly, 4 months since my Overstock application, I still get the 7-10 day message when I click "learn more". Comenity is a strange animal.

It could be a denial as well. If approved, great! Just depends on the profile I suppose. Now, haven't the great majority of your cards been opened in the last 6-8 months OP?

Ok so got the letter today and they wanted to verify my info. After they did, the nice lady told me I was approved for $2,250! Yayyy! Can't wait to get the card and call the automated line to get my CLI fix!

Comenity Capital Bank (different from Comenity), who issues Barney's card, likes to do verifications a lot. I never had to do verification when I got my Barney's but I just today had to do verification for Fuel Rewards Network.(approved!) And this is with me already having both Comenity Capital and regular Comenity Visa and Mastercards, plus some Comenity store cards as well.
