Auto CLI on my Ritz Carlton

I just logged into my chase account an as I was paying down some cards, I notice there was an auto CLI of 1k. I never asked for one at all. Thanks JP Morgan. Woo hoo!

In case anyone wants to know, I recieved this card in June of this year.

Boy it seems that everybody is receiving auto love from Chase except me just kidding, congratulations on your auto increase! Perhaps since Chase changed their policy for new cards maybe they changed their policy regarding CLIs as well to make up for it? Although they'll have to do better than 1k auto increases.. I say a 3k-5k increase should do the trick

I'll ask the obligatory Q's: What kind of useage compared to CL before the CLI?

ETA: Also, when did your first statement generate, or did it? I was approved for the card the end of June and was expecting a statement to generate 7/29 and it didn't. I have a thread on it in Credit Cards...weird that Hyatt did and Ritz didn't.

Thanks. My first statement posted on July 13th. I've been pushing roughly 2k to 4k a month through that card on various things. None hotel related. I always paid in full with the exception of last month, as I let about $600ish report. I wanted to let chase make something off me rather than paying in full all the time. I do that with all my chase cards.

Thanks guys. I was'nt even expecting them to offer me any CLI's, so it came as a total shock. Although its not the increase that will really rock the boat, it was enough to make me smile.

That's good news. Being vacation season they probably wanted to give you enough credit to stay another night.
