I was JUST approved for an Amex Delta Skymiles card! I can't believe this, I'm only 20 years old and still in college. I've honestly always wanted one of these. I read this forum often for tips and tricks to keep up my credit. Thank you guys for all the help. I'm now content with my credit cards.... Except Capital One and their stingy asses. They rarely ever give out Clis. Again, thanks! AMEX!

Sure! My EX Fico (Which is what they pull) Is at a 679. My TU is at a 652. I have no idea what my EQ is probably lower. I would be in the 700s if it weren't for my high utilization (72%). It's going to drop down to about 50 once cards report again I paid the minimum last month but forgot to pay them down again before they reported. Shocked I got approved with this Util! Anyway I have 6 open accounts. All carrying balances. (Yes I know, bad. Paying a lot off soon.)

Estimates of my reported balances:

Discover: 400/1000
Capital One: 454/750
Amazon Store Card: 588/650
PayPal Smart Connect: 750/800 (Forgot to pay it off before it reported. Huge ouchie. Although they just gave me a CLI to a 2000 limit!!!!!)
Firestone Store Card: 900/1200
GameStop Store Card: 160/450 (Closing this after PIF next billing cycle)

I have NO negatives, and I've never missed a card payment. Oldest account is my discover which is 1.2 years old. Average Age Of Account is 10 months. Can't wait to pay off my Discover & Capital in two months and make my Amex my primary!

Unless you really want the mileage card, you could wait until you get the bonus miles and then PC to the BCE. It's worth considering, so that you can get the gas & groceries cashback. Welcome, love Amex!!
