Small victories

Hello everybody. So I have an itch this weekend to apply (I know it is bad of me) and stepped out of the garden. Anyways, here are sweet small victories:

Barclay Apple - Approved for $1500
Care Credit - Approved for $1000
Barclay Rewards - Declined (too many inquiries and I applied to this one before Apple)
Wal-Mart - CLI from $400 to $1400 thru chat
Amazon - CLI from $600 to $2000 thru chat

I just want to say thank you for everybody here in the forum. I couldn't have done it without all the knowledge that I gained from here. For that, I am very grateful. Even though I was not approved for Rewards, I am still happy to get in with Barclay. Barclay is one of the few bank I want to apply. I only need to work on getting Discover and I am done with applying for credit card. It is kinda getting too much to handle. Lol My only question is when can I ask for CLI for Express and Care Credit. I would love to have more padding in my util. Anyways thank you guys so much!!

Congrats! and yes thank goodness for small victories. In no time before you know it they turn into bigger ones for you.

Thanks everyone!! I just want to ask , when can I ask for CLI for Care credit and Express? Do you think I should recon my app for Barclay Rewards??

Care Credit is going to be a hardpull. Express usually wants to see 6 to 9 months of useage before giving a CLI. At least thats what I have always read on the boards. With a mid 650's TU, Barclays might up the limit $500.00.

I tried to recon my app for Barclay Rewards but I am still denied...

But I have a small victory today, I successfully PC my Cap1 Plat to Cap1 QS1!!! The best part is I only had this card since May... Less than 6 months!! At first, I am looking to have my APR reduced which is at 20.99% (boo!) But declined my request and instead they offered to PC it to QS1. I am soooo excited and happy right now. I feel like all my hard work is paying off little by little. Thank you so much for everybody in this forum. I really couldn't have done it without this forum. Hopefully in 6 months, I can combine both account to have a bigger CL.

Congrats on all of your victories. My issues with barclay are opposite yours but just the same. I got their barclay rewards but they deny me for everything else. I have never been able to recon with them but oh well. At least Im in with them so I thought I would leave it at that.

Why not? You dont have anything to lose but a few minutes. Since you already have the inquiry, you might as well try to make the best of it.
