Walmart / Gap / Old Navy CLIs

Finally get to post in this forum. Opened chat tonight and ask for $1100 increase to $2000 total and received it.

I immediately realized based on the folks on this board that it means I left money on the table. But I am too chicken to ask immediately again. Should I wait a week? a Month?

My account opened on 04/05 and I have run about $2000 through in 4 months. Balanec was $490 of $900 when I asked for increase tonight.

**EDIT: I then went on to Old Navy and asked for a an $800 increase from $200... ($1000 total) -- DONE.

Then I went to Gap and pressed my luck.. asked for $1600 from $200 ($1800 total) -- DONE.

**ADDITIONAL UPDATE: The next morning I went back feeling I had left money on the table and all three raised me to $3500 each. $9200 increase in 24 hours between the three accounts. YES! Helped my UTIL big time! My overall credit went up

Finally some synchrony bank love... I deserve it for the 7-8 hard pulls I have on my transunion from them in 2015!

Congrats on your increase. I did the same thing. I asked for a certain dollar amount and they gave it to me and now I'm thinking wow, I'd

probably should have asked for more. Don't sweat it, the fall is coming, the holidays are coming and and increases are going to be plentiful. Next time ask for a outrageous amount and let them counter, then you will know that you got the best that they can offer.

Does anyone know how long I should wait before asking again? Obviously I left money on the table with Walmart, Old Navy and Gap... I dont want to get flagged or anything negative.. but I would love the extra lines for utilization and overall to get me off toy limits forever

you can ask how ever often you would like. Although, doing it all in 4 month patterns is legit to always get the response you want.

You should have asked for $10k on each account. A rule of thumb....if they didn't counter, you didn't ask for enough!!!

If they met your request, go back and ask for more now! I asked for 2k on my old navy last week and got it. Next day asked for 10k and approved for 3,500.

OK OK OK.. I couldn't resist either...

OLD NAVY FROM $200 --> $1000 yesterday --> $3500 today.

GAP FROM $200 --> $1800 yesterday --> $3500 today.

WALMART FROM $900 --> $2000 yesterday --> $3500 today.

That's an increase of $9,200 in 24 hours. -- and for fun.. I did all three windows simultaneously furiously typing in each window.

Did they do a HP? I always saw that when you do the Luv button that they do a HP. On my Amazon they didn't when I did the chat.

No.. all three were softpulls.... however.. I did ask Synchrony last night to raise me from $1000 on my CareCredit account.. they told me no.. and then told me it was a hardpull after the fact... I confirmed that with a credit alert about 30 minutes later. UGH.

I couldn't find a CareCredit Chat window.. and I believe someone said CareCredit only does increases via phone call... but I could be wrong.
