Chase Sapphire Preferred Approval

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and wanted to say that I've been lurking for a while, taking note of everyone's advice.I was pre-approved for it when I logged onto my Chase account. I applied for it 5 days ago.

I have a pretty young credit history, almost 2 years, with a BoA CL at $500 and a USAA CL of $6000. I am an approved user on my parent's MileagePlus card, which I am unsure of the CL. I'm not sure if they take that into consideration. I have had a checking account with Chase for about 5 or 6 years now, with ~$10,000 in it currently. My credit score from Experian says it's 732.

What do you think my chances are?

Very good u will get maybe 10k? Did u call the status line and see what the message said? My chase apps showed up around day 9 after applying.

If you were pre-approved for it then I think your chances are good. Perhaps it's taking so long because they need verification. Maybe you could give them a call tomorrow and see if there is any further info they need from you?

Call the backdoor. Probably waiting on you is all for verification. You should be fine. I was just approved and I had no relationship with them except for like 2 years ago. They were my first bank when I turned 18, But not for more than 2 years. I'm sure your solid. They likely pulled TU and EX. Chase isn't a score based lender however. They care what your file looks like, but they definitely care if you have a relationship with them. It helps.

Called backdoor. They asked me to verify information and got a 5k CL to start off. Yay! I'll take what I can get for now haha.
