Amex Luv Finally

Hello Fico Fam. I got my Amex Delta exactly 11 months ago today. on the 6th of october in 1 month it will be 1 year. to say im excited is an understatement.

Card started out at $3500 at the time and it was for sure my highest limit. i was giddy with excitement to finally having an Amex in my Wallet. 61 days later i hit the cli button and took my limit to $10.500. and roll continued. well fast forward 6 months after i was sure i was going to get another as I had made amex my primary card, But Boom Denied my 3x cli. i was in shock. in disbelief. how could they do this to me when i showed them all my love?

Anyway. I Paid my Balance in full and sock drawered the card. the last time i attempted was june 8th. out of no where 10 mins ago i decided to do the math and see if it has been 90 days. i counted and in my mind it has. So i just logged in and went for the gusto. But this time holding my expectations down. I just asked for $20k. not the full 3x time limit or even 25k for that matter. Results below. Thanks all. without this community no way would i have ever known about any of this.

Congrats Taxi! Knew you would get it this time Nice limit. Just need to get a donor ED card or SPG or whatever and roll the limit into a more worthwhile card IMO after that card reaches 13 months aka donor.

Thanks CC. I kind of like my Delta as i got it based on traveling to Europe and Asia. But i think i will go for the Bce or something after this card reaches 13 months. I still have 2 more months to go. Im thnking about following your steps if my marriott is not approved. Then i will go for the Hilton. Amex version or is that the Hyatt? one of them. I need a hotel card.

Amex HHonors for a $0 AF card is pretty underrated IMO.. Bonus alone is one or two days at a decent hilton. Points are devalued, but wen I eat out and get 5 points per dollar they actually add up pretty quickly.. I am debating whether I will even go for the Rtiz again around the 140k promo this year due to having a hotel card and now the Platinum aka travel card along with the CSP. Guess I will figure that out soon enough. My 6 months on CLI w/amex will be the 11th of this month I believe. Not sure how it will work out, ,although since my last increase my score on Exp has sky rocketed, but also have opened alot of new accounts.. See how that plays out and what I ask for as I surely won't ask for the full 3x for 69k lol.. I will probably go for 30-35k then move some of the limit when it hits 13 months ot my HHonors card.

Yes. i agree. i think 30-35k is plenty enough hehehe. im pulling for you. keep us informed.

Thanks magic. i had to debate what to go for. I knew i wanted at least 20 but really wanted 25k. but i can live with 20k. hehehe. as all in all this week ive had about a 40k increase just on existing cards

Thanks CFD. If i look at it from that perspective you are absolutly correct. $3500-20k is kind of nice seeing ive only had the card 11 months.
