Has hell frozen over? Cap 1

I haven't noticed any flying pigs, but I'm more than a little concerned about hell right now. I actually got a CLI from Crap 1. A whole whopping $500 and never in my life would I ever have thought a $500 CLI could feel like such a victory. I count 26 CLI denials since February in my online documents.

I'm honestly not even sure how it happened. When I did the luv button request I got the standard "Request Recieved" (screw off) that I always get and then they sent me an email the next day. Whatever, $5000 is mo betta than $4500 so I'm calling it a definate win!

I did go ahead and update my income info like the email suggested. I'm sure they'll consider me for future increases asap!

Yes, I've never heard of this happening either. I'm wondering if it was a result of the luv button or if it was "auto". I hit the button constantly so I ALWAYS have a request in so there's really no way to tell what brought it about, but I think generally when it's a result of a luv button request that you have to "accept" the increase. I didn't have to accept it at all. I got the email and then logged into my account in disbelief and there it was.

Congrats wac. but its pretty common to wait 6 months for cli from cap one no matter how much you mash the luv button. but wow. $500 spot. that scary

Congratulations thats awesome ! How long have you had Cap 1 for? I started with the Journey card last September. Started as $ 300, 6 months later $ 500, and last week ALL THE WAY UP TO ++++++++++++++++++

A lousy $ 750 ! wow. Tried Recon and they wouldnt do anything about it.

Don't worry about hell, it's still plenty warm. I have 34 of them, the most recent being 5 days ago.

Not sure if you already have it or interested, but I was able to upgrade my journey to a quicksilver card without an annual fee after only maybe 9 months of having my journey card. Sorry that I don't know the exact time frame, thought I'd let you know!
