Synchrony/Belk 'Luv' Button Success

Hello all!

Synchrony seems to like me lately, as they've been generous with CLIs on my Lowe's and they gave me a Care Credit and Sam's Club Mastercard back in August.

This being said, my Belk card has been a bit 'stunted' compared to the rest. It started with a credit line of $200 in 2006, and January 2014 it was increased it to $400. It was then increased to $700 then $1400 sometime back in spring 2015.

All of the CLIs on this account have been auto... every time I've tried the 'button' it's given me the "we'll send you a letter" message, and the letter just says I need more experience with my current credit line. It just seemed a bit weird that they would give me $7k+ on a Lowe's card that I never use, and keep my limit low (relatively) on the card that I do use.

Last night I was bored, and I figured I'd give it a try to see if anything had changed... instant $2k CLI, with a new total credit line of $3400 on Belk!

Just sharing this to let you know if you've had luck on one Synchrony card but not another (in particular, Belk) just keep trying!

Congratulations on the Belks CLI I just got this card during mid-August and it was approved for $3K SL. Statement generated at the end of August and it auto-CLI'd on its own to $5K. This card can grow really nice. Well, I suppose depending on how SYNCB feels some days

Congrats! on the Synchrony luv and FinStar is 100% right.

On some NEW cards and right after statement cut Sync (in my case after 2 months) will secretly auto bump your limit without so much as an email or other notice. Nice

This is good to know... it would be wonderful if they would do this on my new Sam's Club Mastercard!

Its second statement closing is coming up, and I'm using the fool out of it (I always PIF). So far I'm charging around $1k per month on it (CL is $1.5k), all at the 3% cash rewards rate for travel/restaurants.

It's not the "sexiest" card out there, but I'm loving the cash rewards!
