Best Buy Visa approval!

The TV in my living room went out last night so decide to apply for the best buy card so I could use the 24 month interest free financing. Held my breath as I submitted the application and was instantly approved and given a choice between the store card and the visa. I selected the Visa and was given a $4,000 starting limit but an APR of 25.9%. The APR doesnt mean much as the card will only be used for their financing offers. Does anyone know weather or not citi does cli's on this card right after approval?

Oh, I'm also open to reccomendations on what to get for a new TV. Thinking a 60' would fit best but not sure what brands or options to look for.

Congrats!! I love their financing offers! Last year, a month after being approved for $3k, I requested and received a CLI to $5k, and month after that to $10k. I was too chicken to go for the $10k on the day I was initially approved. That was at the beginning my first app spree, I'm much bolder now, thanks to this forum! So yes, they will grant CLIs, but it'll probably cost you a HP. Of course, YMMV. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I may just keep it as is for now. Should be able to get what I want for under 2k. Would like a little more cushion but not sure if it is worth another hard pull.

I have been leaning toward the samsungs but have heard great things about the LG's as well. I like the price of the Vizio's but scared it might be too cheap and not last as long.

Congrats on BBY approval,, yes their CLI's are usually HP for any of their backed cards @ least for BBY,and HD..bummer but they usually approved them

My parents have had Vizio TVs for the past 8 years, not one had gone out yet, and I also have one great price and great quality.

This. I've never owned a Vizio, but my ex-in-laws have, and their TV is still kicking (also about 8 years old). If I couldn't get a deal on another LG (I'm familiar with their remotes) when the time comes, I wouldn't have any problems going with a Visio, myself.

We bought a Samsung to replace the LG I broke last year. It's a beautiful TV, but I disabled the wifi on it, so it's not used for any smart TV functions.

I have a Vizio in the exercise room that I bought back in 2008. The only issue it's ever had is one dead pixel. There's a reason they're ranked so highly.

Congrats on the approval! As for TV's, we swear by Vizio around here, have a 37, 42, and a 55. 37 is over 5 years old, and works like day 1.

I tried for a cli just before going to the store and now have a 10k limit. Ended up getting a 65" LG 4k that looks amazing. Added a sound bar, full motion mount, new bluray player and some had I cables. Set the tv up tonight and will mount it and hook up the sound bar this weekend. Put on the football game in hd and couldn't believe how clear the picture is on this tv. Spent a little more than planned but think it was well worth it.

once the card comes set it up online and submit a CLI to $25k, they should counter.
