BBVA Compass NBA Amex Approved

On a whim I decided to apply for this one and my gut told me I had a shot at getting this approved with my EX at 667 and income. Sure enough slam dunk and instant approval for 12K @ 15.24%. I'm kind of shocked at how easy this one was.

I avoided this one on purpose during applications because of so much negative backlash over communications with them so hopefully that's all blown over by now.

Looks like they offer reasonable SL's on it too.

Thanks guys! This one was truly on a whim. EX is my best score currently at 667 for the 08 score. I know BBVA pulls only EX so figured I'd give it a shot but was not expecting a 12K instant approval. Think my file is still on the thin side considering that it wasn't until June of this year that I re-established any type of revolving credit at all. This and my Venture approvals put me well over 100K as of today.

If anyone is wondering about score EX is currently at 667 for Fico 08 with two baddies still showing. CO auto loan that's six years old and unpaid judgement that 6 1/2 years old and all of my revolving accounts are new since June of this year I think 12 in total. had 6 inquires on EX when I apped.

I'm sure some will be able to better measure their own chances if interested in that card.

Card arrived yesterday so really quick to ship out. Now here's the part that bums me out a little. Also got the letter letting me know why I didn't get lowest rate and sure enough when they pulled I was 667 for EX. A day after I apped this my EX jumped to 702. I wonder what the APR and SL might have been if I'd just waited another day or two.
