JP Morgan Palladium Card Successfully Approved!!!

This is my journey in applying for the JP Morgan Palladium Card. On May 2015, I opened up a Chase Private Client Membership account. My Banker offered me an application to apply for the Palladium Card but I declined as I did not feel ready at that time but told him I will apply later in the year. On Monday, I scheduled time to see my Banker and we filled out the application and he faxed it. The next morning, my Banker gave me a call and congratulated me on my approval at 20K! I am very thankful and humbled for this opportunity at a young age. I should be receiving my card within the next few days.

Just an FYI-My Experian FICO is over 770.

Congrats! Supposedly the average card holder has 30 million in cash held by Chase but 250,000 seems to be enough too. 30 million and average just seems extreme lol. Since the actual info on it is varied by websites, I'll let op answer lol. But congrats again op!! That card is super sexy looking.

You have to have $100k to become Private Client... You can then apply for this card but you would have to have a plan in place with Chase to achieve $250k within your accounts with Chase in a year or so... $250k in Chase Accounts is required.

Wait, what? They only gave you 20k? That seems extremely low given the funds on deposit... I'm not trying to negate the great approval, so please dont take it that way, however, I am also a CPC and they gave me a 100k limit on my JP Morgan Select when I applied back in the day. Ive never applied or wanted the Palladium, but I just assumed that the approval limits would be in line with the restrictions they place on approval. Congrats! but I would definitely recon for more if it was me and your spending justifies it.

Thank you Lyythine and no I am not offended at all. JP Morgan probably started me with $20K due to short credit history (highest account is slightly over 5 years old), even though all three of my FICO scores exceeds 760. I am still in my twenties so I got long ways to build my credit history. Congrats to you on getting a $100K limit. That is very impressive. My goal is to reach that. How long did it take for you to get such limit? You must have a long credit history and obviously you have a lot of assets. Thanks again.
