After 2.5 years, Wells Fargo is finally graduating my secured CC in Nov. I'm not sure if I should be happy or angry that it took this long, but I will take it.

Grats! Enjoy your new found unsecured card status! Some of us never got there and had to close the account and apply for unsecured. You did well

My secured card graduates in November too. I spoke with a CSR and they said Wells Fargo CC offers 1.5% cash back on purchases too. I thought you'd be happy to know that. Oh and the amount approved will be the amount of your original secured card. They said you can ask for CLI every 30 days as well.

I had the WF secured for over 18 months, I didn't get a letter from them but when I just logged on into my WF account I saw another account added under Rewards but there is no data yet but it looks like a new card. Not sure what that means or if they are in transition to switch me to a unsecured. Everybody I saw said that they got a letter which I didn't.

The funny thing is that I really no longer care, I just keep for the AAoA since that is one of my older cards. It only had $300 if they CLI to something substantial it really is only a AAoA purpose card.

It is hilarious to me because since I got I go this card, I also had the BofA secured which has graduated a long time ago with several CLI's and started out with $500 and I am not at $10,000 and since I received 3 Amex cards, DCU with $5000 and just received the NASA FCU with $17,500 CL, Discover and I have 3 Cap 1's with about $5000. So that $300 is really a joke.

I guess I find out soon what all of this in my account means.

For those graduating on November 13th, my Wells Fargo homepage now shows the card as 'PLATINUM CARD' and no longer 'SECURED CARD' or whatever it was before. It still has the $500 credit limit but I assume that I'll be getting my deposit within 2 weeks from now if old secured card graduation posts are correct. I'm hoping sooner but we'll see what happens.

My initial deposit was $500 and I still have a Wells Fargo Checking/Savings account with them. Good luck to everyone else!
