just got the popup on LL Bean for the Barclay Visa. Was approved for initial shopping limit of $2000. Assume cl will be higher when I receive the card,according to the wording. My first Barclay card. The Ring might be in my future. Cant wait to get my parka I ordered,my 1st LL Bean product also.

edit: just activated my card and got my actual credit. approved for $8000 my highest cl to date by $1300,think Im going to like Barclays.....

heck yeah. b4 i know it Ill have my 1st $10000 card.

I'm basing this off your FICO over 750 TU. My friend who has good income for her age 48k and FICO 780 to 800 was register approved 2k and card came with 9k limit. Maybe yours will be 6-8k. But she also doesn't open a lot of cards and had an apple visa for 3 years for the relationship aspect.

Thanks ddemari,will have to see when it comes. I have the exact 48000 income and is what I put in. I'm happy with whatever I get though,even the 2000 is fine. But 9000 would be awesome.

I briefly considered getting this and what intrigues me most is the cardmember only deals. I have been unable to find any examples of what these are, if they're limited to specific items, or if it's a fixed percent off a certain category of items, etc. Off topic, but can anyone chime in with examples?

I got the pop up when ordering a belt from them about 4-5 months ago. Was approved for $500 and when I called for the permanent limit they told me $500 was my permanent limit.

Called the credit analyst and she increased it to $3000 after commenting on my high Am Ex limit and liking that I paid it down from $7000 to $850 in 2 months..

I thought the SCT only worked with Comenity and Synchrony cards. I'm confused since this is issued by Barclays?

Also hate to double post about this but I'll throw it again anyway: Are the cardmember offers/discounts you get with the card worth it or is it mostly good for the extra points when shopping at LL Bean? Thanks.

Not sure Barthooper. I just wanted a coat and it popped up at checkout. Says 3% back when shopping on llbean and 1% elsewere. New it was a tu puller because of barclay so I went ahead and applied.
I needed a credit card on my tu report because last score update for tu said I didnt have enough credit cards,so I figured what the heck,can only help my util.

There are two pop ups, one saying you are pre selected and an other just letting u know about the card.

very nice, congrats!! They are opening up an LL BEAN like 15 min from me. I like they stuff actually, but I will resist their card. Ive got bigger plans

It's good to resist. Some super card might come out and you couldn't get it because you apped for that dang ll bean...lol
The parka I got is really nice,cant wait to were it.
