I applied online and was instantly approved for $800CL. I tried calling backdoor asking for an increase to buy a TV that's over $1000. DENIED LOL

Oh well, at least I'll be getting my free monthly TU Fico and I was told to call back in a few months after some usage.

Grats! I was approved for $800 Walmart Discover on the 20th but still haven"t got my card in the mail yet. Like everyone else I just wanted it for the free Fico as well but i do plan on using it at least once a month.

Congrats bro. The same thing happened to me, except I was only approved for 700. Every time something changes for the better with regards to my credit I apply for a CLI through the back door, and so far, I have been denied every time for insufficient experience at this limit. So now, I will just wait until my fourth statement cuts before I ask again.

Congrats!! I was originally approved for 600 and I called for a cli a month later was given 1000. (I was scared to ask for more..lol)

How long did it take for the card to come in? I see a 24 month special financing offer, but it's only good for in store purchases til February 8.

I got mine within 2 weeks....did they set you up an account online so you can make purchases that way if they have the 0%

They did, but the special financing offer is for in-store purchases only.

I got mine within a week, DW did also. Added son as an AU and got his in 3 days. Good Luck!

Don't forget that this card can upgrade into a Discover version...

I got an $800 store version in May 2010.
Currently, mine has been upgraded to the Discover version(after two years) , and I have a $15,000 limit. So this card is a grower!!!!:-)

Give it some time. From what i read GE is very generous at cli. Should start growing pretty soon.
