Finally took the plunge and app'd for Amex BCE.

I was instantly approved for $2k. Not really happy with the CL, but I suppose I can try for 3x CLI in 61 days. This is my first Amex... any possibility of reconning the limit?

Did not prequal for anything on the site.

727 EX as of today (from CCT)

10 inqs/24 months. 7/12 months. 6/6 months.

3% UTL.

6 new revolving accounts & 1 new car loan in the last 12 months.

No baddies.

Happy to be "in" with Amex. And we will certainly make use of the rewards since we have a large monthly grocery/gas spend, but I didn't want to commit to a $75 AF.

Congrats! A few years ago BCE was my goal card with Amex, I was so proud when I got approved finally.

Yeah, it certainly feels good. And I'm happy to have all the big guys now. Amex, Discover, Visa and MC.

Just wish the CL was a little higher.

But I really CAN'T complain. Amex denied me in June and I'm just happy to have them smile down upon me.

Congrats! I was so happy when I got approved for both BCP and PRG and it was my first time app with no preapproval .

It really is a good feeling of accomplishment to get in the door with Amex. I never thought I'd get my BCE. Treat her well and your limit will grow in no time!
