WOW, 2nd Ebates Visa Cli - $10,000!!

I lowballed my first CLI request in chat for Ebates Visa, and I knew I left some money on the table. Now I just went back in and did a second, separate chat CLI request and asked for 2k more.

Approved! I'm now at $6,000 credit limit for Ebates Visa, and have only had the card since late July!

And the two bad influences, (ha) Creditmagic and ddemari, made me feel encouraged to try again:

So now I'm at $10,000 for Ebates Visa. Crazy thing is, the card had an $800 credit limit as of this morning. Yes, from $800 to $10,000 in just a few hours, you read that correctly.

Was the very last Visa card I applied for in a spree in July so I received an embarassingly low limit on this particular card - at the same time I was receiving new mastercard and Signature Visa approvals for 6k, 10k, 13k and 15k limits on my other cards. Ebates can be a little weird sometimes.

$800 to $10,000 credit limit in a few hours with my Ebates Visa............ wow. Just wow!

Just received a $3,200 credit limit increase for my Ebates Visa after trying what CreditMagic said to do through chat!

Every time I went into chat previously, reps kept telling me that they could not guarantee it would not be HP. CreditMagic gave me the encouragement to try again just now.

CreditMagic, you truly do work your magic in terms of Credit! Credit Solutions had not given a CLI on this card as recently as two weeks ago, and it's still a fairly new card!

Not that it might be useful or not for a data point but i was carrying a <10% Balance on today's CLI approval.

Good idea to post that, CM. For data point purposes, my balance has been zero since I received the card and have put through about $250 total on it over the last few months, paid in full as soon as charges posted.

Well yeah actually it is a very good Data Point.

I had every intention entirely to PIF that balance for over a couple of weeks now but something is been needling me to just leave it this cycle and try for a CLI with it sitting there this time.

Really glad for you, ddemari. I was reluctant to ask for more the first time around, but got a little more brave as time went on.

It does help to ask for the moon with Synchrony. Might as well try. It worked when I recently received a $10,000 credit limit increase with my AEO Visa through Synchrony! I'm now at $15,000 on the AEO Visa card.

$250 usage total on mine over the past few months. Multiple small transactions. Paid each time an item posted, so kept it at zero balance. Did not wait until due date to pay. Hope this helps!
