Sam's MC Approved $5k cli to $25k

On my drive back from a disappointing RBFCU road trip, I decided to app the Sam's MC. Instantly approved $5k. I immediately called Credit Solutions and asked for $25k. After being on hold forever, she came back and said "Congratulations you have been increased to $25k." Now I have an all in one 5% gas and 3% dining card. Take that RBFCU. You say I have too much available credit? Well I just picked up $25k more!

Looks like I won't be needing Chase AARP after all!

Way to go baller!!! I didn't even get to "try" RBFCU after the info I shared with you earlier - thankfully I didn't go through with it because I'm sure it would have yileded no outcome. That's ok, a surprise big one just got done a few days ago (UNFCU) and will be posting those details soon once I get the final confirmation on funding.

Nice super CL on Sam's Club MC!! You'll get lots of use on this one. I got approved at the end of Dec last year and they just did auto-CLI. Congratulations!

From the website, it looks as if you have to first pay for a Sam's club membership before applying to the mastercard. I don't go to warehouse clubs and it would be my luck if I applied, I would risk ending up with the store card.

Humu, Yes you definitely have to have a membership to apply. From what I have seen, no one over 730 have gotten store card. Anything under that is possible. My TU is 764.

I got approved for mine last October, had it a year now and they just raised it to $10K.

So yeah you are humming with that boss new limit plus you will certainly enjoy those percentage cash back categories on gas, dining, and anything else.

Apr is 14.90% or 22.90%. They gave me 22.90%. Weirdos. I don't think I've ever seen 14.90% on this card. If anyone has it please let us know.

I just became aware that Sam's Club is starting to accept American Express. I'm wondering if this going to replace the loss of contract with Costco?? and are they dropping the contract with Mastercard and going exclusively Amex like Costco did for many years???

I was thinking about applying for the Sam's Club Mastercard for sometime, it would be a shame for Synchrony to lose the business to Amex. Anybody know anything about this subject??

Hey Baller, I got Tier I APR on this one back in Dec but I haven't seen many folks with that Tier I level. Most seem to be approved with Tier II for some reason. Then again it's a PIF card for me.

Interesting. I haven't heard anything about Amex taking over. But I did see the big sign at Sam's that they now accept Amex.

I agree baller. The APR is overshadowed by your monster approval (which I doubt would have happened with RBFCU if approved). Now, Sam's like Wally's does have pormotional financing so there's that as well And, with this high SL, it helps with your upcoming PenFed conquest!
