Last year, I applied with Chase numerous times and was rightfully denied.

Have been gardening since May 31st, and am about to book Southwest tickets... so, obviously, it's new credit card time.

Googled "Chase Southwest 50k" and applied through the first link that came up -- was expecting another denial, and was SHOCKED to see that I was instantly approved. Small SL, $3000, but the best interest rate on any of my cards (their standard 15.99%).

Called to ask them to expedite... we shall see -- she said Southwest hadn't confirmed my RR# yet, but if they do, I'll get it in 1-2 days.

Ecstatic!

Scores are in sig. Don't know what bureau they pulled, but only 1 INQ in last 6 months (Ex). A dozen or so on each bureau but they're 6-24 months old. Income, $58k. Util is 6%.

They probably pulled EX. At least that's who they pulled for me in Texas.

Wish they would pull EXP for me all they go after is EQ where I live.. They would probably try a double against EX if I didn't have it on ice. I just know I can't avoid the EQ or would unfreeze the EX and freeze the EQ (as it has WAY to many inquiries). So strange how lenders are kinda regional on whom they pull from being some areas of country are Exp some are EQ, etc.
