Approved again twice for CS, and CSP!

So last night I apped for the Freedom and got $5000, this morning I apped for the regular sapphire, I hate AFs so that is why I did not go for preferred, approved again for $5000. If I wanted to, could chase combine the two and make a freedom card with $10000?

So your hatred of annual fees made you pass up a 40K UR bonus worth at least $400, and no AF for the first year? Mmm, ok! You should have got the CSP and then downgraded before the AF hit a year from now.

And yes, you can combine, if you close the sapphire, not sure if they will transfer it all.

I was able to get 3 approvals within a 24 hour period as well,,But I also put a ton of money and bought a roth IRA in chase..so that may have helped

Wow!!! that is a first! Congrats to op! 3 chase cards in a matter of 24 hours... I tried for my third chase in a period of 3 months from my first approval and got denied (INQs and Recent Chase approvals).

hmmm... i opened a businesss platinum checking account 5 months ago (to go along with my platinum personal checking/savings), just opened a brokerage account with them also and about to open an IRA next week, wonder if that will help when i apply for the saphire soon....lol

Well I had the same experience just yesterday....I apped for the Chase Southwestern Airlines and the CSP and got an instant approval for both for $5000. I don't know if it was a glich in the system or what because from what I have been reading on this site is that everyone has trouble getting not only approvals from Chase but large CLs. So I want to say that I caught them on a good day. Sometimes it happens I guess, its not totally unheard of from my own personal experience and ilovelisa's as well.

Nice. It took me months of jumping through hoops to get approved for Chase Freedom... but my scores were very borderline. Congrats!

wow, congrats! 3 instant approvals within 24 hrs??? I'm jealous because I apped for two different chase cards last month (within 24 hrs) and the 1st one got instantly approved ($25k) but the 2nd one got denied (too many requests for credit). OP, do you mind sharing your credit profile (AAoA, Util, baddies, etc.)?
