Applied for the Modells MVP card and got the 7-10 message, that was a week and half ago. Today in the mail I got the comenity letter stating they needed further verification so I called in and passed the questions and ended up with a congratulations youre approved for $250 very disappointing SL but its a start and I am a frequent customer with Modells so I will take it. I did some searching on the forums but they all just stated approvals, so my questions for any owners of this card are: when can you first apply for a CLI, how generous is this particular card with increases and frequency and should I use the Luv button on the website or call in for better results? Gracias in advance!

Congrats! I have this card, but was denied for CLI's, so my limit sits at $1K. I'm assuming, like my other Comenity cards, that you will start getting CLI requests approved after the 5th month the cards been opened, or 5th statement, but you can try monthly. Mine seem to work around the 27th of each month, which is around the time I got approved for many of them.

As always remember you may incur a review of your credit report (hard inquiry(ies)) for a credit limit increase.

I received a popup for the VISA version last week but did not take the offer thinking it would also popup for me if I returned. Nope! Since then, I only get the offer for the regular store card. Missed opportunity I guess.

I got the store card with the popup a few months ago with an SL of $500.

No CLI's for me yet, but I've also never used it.

I have had the card for a while now....at 6 months I hit the CLI and got the 7-10 day message...when I got the letter in the mail it said that my account is too new for a CLI at this time so I still sit at the same $750 limit. I called in and was advised the only way to get a credit line increase was through the automated system or online...
