Navy Fed & Pen Fed just about gave me a heart attack!!!

I have been a member of navy fed and Pen Fed since 2002, but have only ever had a checking and a savings with the both of them. Today I decided I need to get rid of my Capital One Quicksilver ($2500 limit) and Barclay's American Airlines card ($8000 limit) because of the higer APR's (Cap 1 15.99) (Barclay's 16.99), and the annual fees (Cap 1 $35, Barclay's $89). I applied first with Navy Fed and just about fell over when the lady told me that I have been approved for the platinum card with a $25000.00 credit limit with a 7.99 APR. I then decided to explore my options with Pen Fed. I applied for the Pen Fed defender American Express online, and was instantly approved for a $10000.00 credit limit at 8.99 APR. I just got done cutting up and canceling my old cards...it's off to the garden I go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow this is amazing, congrats on your dual approvals ....now, get rid of the junk
