Went three for three at RBFCU!

At baller4life peer pressure I decided to join RBFCU and I applied for membership last night. Today I was able to set up online access and when I logged in I app'd for the CC and requested 15k and was approved hours later. After I submitted that app for the CC I went for the LOC and only requested 10k but was only granted 1k. Then I said to myself why not an auto refinance, submitted the app and that was approved at 2.99%, currently have it at 4.59%.

So really went 2 1/2 since the LOC wasn't fully granted but its better than a denial. All these are not fully approved until I submit proof of income but I'm still excited. The tides have definetly turned. That's it no more apping in 2015 and 2016.

I can't believe it I crossed the 100k mark this week with just these new CC's and with the new LOC's I'll be around 125k mark. Unbelievable!!!!!

I submitted my proof of income yesterday for all three apps around noon and I got an email before 6 for the CC and auto loan and today for LOC that my income was verified. For the CC I had to call and let them know which account I wanted the rewards to go to. I just got of the phone and told them to my checking account and rep said congrats your new card will arrive within 7-10 days. For the auto refi I need to go to a branch and take insurance and registration and DL. I forgot to ask her about the LOC but I guess I'll ask on saturday when I go in and finish the refi.

I just had gotten a special offer from SSFCU to skip the December payment to have more money for the holidays. Of course interest continues to accrue and the maturity date is extended but it is a great offer to free up some money for the upcoming holidays. Now with the money I'll be saving at RBFCU for doing the refi with them that would make up in the long run.

I forgot to mention that I got greedy and on wednesday I applied for the Premier rate CC thinking I had a shot of getting it. I asked for 15k. Yesterday I got an email that I was declined, expect a letter in the mail with a reason for denial. Don't know if I asked for too much or is that card harder to get and my credit is not there quite yet but no counter offer was received. On the bright side no additional hard pull was done and they seem to have used the very first pull. Also my little LOC already appears on my online account. CC should appear within 24-48 hours.

Congrats to you! Establishing a relationship with a CU is definitely on my radar and love the fact that they pull TU. Enjoy!
