OMG!! I'm so baffled right now. A few weeks ago I created a thread about being prequalified for the Freedom and Slate. Prior to this I had applied for the Freedom but was denied and denied recon for inquiries reason ONLY. So when I created the thread about being prequalified I decided to apply for the Slate and called about the status. Was told I was denied for inquiries so I hopped my butt in the garden with a drink in my hand. Came home and checked the mailbox today and I saw a fat white envelope. I assumed it was my new JCPennys card and the letter said: YOUR NEW CHASE SLATE CARD HAS ARRIVED. Credit limit: $4800.

It's Friday the 13th..is this a joke? 😬😬😬😬😬

Congrats! Chase making dreams come true today, DH got that same fat white envelope lol his was a Chase Disney Premier with a $5k CL....DisneyWorld sounds like it's close...Friday the 13th for real

Wow! How many store cards? Prime cards? Maybe the 5/24 rule isn't happening anymore or maybe it doesn't count store cards. This is great news, as I planned to apply in December!!
